Dr. Cain is a top-notch podiatrist. My daughter had an ingrown toenail and he took care of it with one office visit. She never had any pain afterwards and the toenail has never grown back (only on the ingrown side) again. You can't tell that she ever had the procedure done by looking at her toe.
I had bunion surgery 8 weeks ago on one side. I never had any pain after a slight dull throbbing on the first day. I never took any pain pills after the second day. I returned to work on the 6th day (in the surgical boot, of course), and while I had to adhere to the doctor's guidelines of not being on my feet more than 15 minutes out of any hour, I was completely functional and pain-free.
Today I had a bunionectomy on my other foot. So far, just a dull ache.
The Dr. was VERY unprofessional.
My only regret is that I put off these procedures so long. If you've been putting it off, go ahead and get it done. The results are definitely worth the slight discomfort and inconvenience. I will be back in sexy shoes by New Year's Eve!
