We are so blessed to have Dr. Johnson in Lawton. He is incredibly talented, professional, and kind. He is truly an expert and has taken great care of my kids' athletic injuries.
I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH GREAT THINGS ABOUT THIS DOCTOR. HE HAS HELP ALL OF MY FAMILY EVER SINCE I WAS INTRODUCED TO HIM. MY DAUGHTER PLAYS SOFTBALL AND HAS ALWAYS PLAYED ON COMPETITIVE TEAMS. WHEN HER ARM WAS HURTING I BROUGHT HER TO DR. JOHNSON AND HE HAD AN MRI DONE ON HER PITCHING ELBOW. SHE HAD A SMALL TEAR IN HER TENDON AND FRACTURE IN HER ELBOW JOINT. THIS WAS HER SENIOR YEAR IN HIGH SCHOOL AND HAD ALREADY SIGNED HER NATIONAL LETTER OF INTENT TO PLAY IN COLLEGE. HE KNEW HOW IMPORTANT IT WAS FOR HER TO FINISH PLAYING HER SENIOR YEAR. HE TOLD HER NOT TO PLAY FOR 5-6 WEEKS AND MAYBE SHE COULD COME BACK RIGHT IN TIME FOR STATE PLAYOFFS. HE PUT HER IN A BRACE AND HAD SO MUCH COMPASSION FOR HER. HE GOT HER BACK ON THE FIELD FOR STATE AND SHE HAS HAD NO PROBLEM THE LAST 3 YEARS OF PLAYING IN COLLEGE. I RECENTLY WENT TO SEE DR. JOHNSON ABOUT HAVING NUMBING AND TINGLING IN MY RIGHT HAND AND PAIN IN MY ARM. WITHIN 5 MINUTES OF LISTENING TO WHAT I WAS DESCRIBING HE TOLD ME EXACTLY WHAT IT WAS GOING TO BE. HOWEVER, HE DID HAVE ME GO THROUGH A FEW TEST JUST TO MAKE SURE AND HE WAS RIGHT. I HAD CARPAL TUNNEL AND AN ULNAR RELEASE DONE ON MY RIGHT HAND AND ELBOW. I HAD THE SURGERY DONE AT THE SAME TIME. THERE WAS MINIMAL PAIN AND I RECOVERED QUICKLY. HIS NURSE ( ANGIE) KNEW I WAS NERVOUS ABOUT MY SURGERY. ANGIE SHOWED UP AT THE SURGERY CENTER JUST TO RE-ASSURE ME THAT EVERYTHING WOULD BE OKAY. BEING A FORMER COLLEGE SOFTBALL PLAYER AND COLLEGE COACH, I HAD TO DEAL WITH MANY DIFFERENT DOCTORS. THERE IS NO ONE THAT HAS A NURSING STAFF LIKE DR. JOHNSON HAS. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND DR. JOHNSON TO ANYONE. HE IS THE BEST AND LAWTON IS SO BLESSED TO HAVE HIM AND HIS FAMILY IN OUR COMMUNITY.
I had orthoscopic surgery on my right knee to repair a tear. Its only been seven months since the surgery and I am starting to experience the same pain. Will have to look for another doctor.
Terrible experience. I had to get a second surgery to fix the ACL reconstruction Dr Johnson did. I wasn't able to get full extension in my knee because of his incompetence. I wasn't able to get into the military because of having two ACL reconstruction surgeries due to the fact Dr Johnson did not do the first one correctly. All my experience with trying to get my medical files as well has been a nightmare. I no longer live in the same state yet the office wants me to come in person and sign a medical release form and it has been such a pain to try to get request fax to them and sent back. I would never recommend anyone go to this office or have Dr Johnson perform knee surgery on them.
