On Friday, 12 December 2014, I dropped off a complete Army Service Uniform for dry cleaning at the 2413 Northwest Cache Road location in Lawton. I was not impressed with the appearance of the facility, but that is an entirely different issue. I picked my uniform up on Monday, 15 December 2014. I noticed that all of the buttons on my uniform had been torn off. I contacted the store where I dropped it off and was told that they would have a manager contact me about the situation the next morning. After no contact from a manager, I called the store again and was given the number for the 6711 Northwest Cache Road location. I called and again explained what had happened to the individual who answered the phone. I was again told that I needed to speak to a "boss". The individual that answered was the most unprofessional individual I have ever spoken to. I was greeted with an exceedingly unfriendly "Yeah?" I asked if the person I had just spoken to had explained the issue or if the "boss" I was speaking to had overheard the conversation. I got a cold "No" from the person on the other end of the line. I initially began to explain the situation before stopping, having realized that this was the third person I had explained it to. I told them that I was not mad at them and that I would just take care of the issue myself. I then hung up the phone. I received a call back from the same individual, not out of concern for resolving the issue, but to instigate. The employee that called me back said that I failed to afford them the opportunity to correct any mistake. I laughed at this, having already spoken to two employees about the issue on two separate occasions. I then asked if it is your business policy to answer the phone with "Yeah?" to which they retorted "I said hello". I explained to the employee that in customer service, the customer is always right and that the egregious lack of empathy and follow through was unacceptable and I would be writing a negative review on the business. I was told that the employee would write rebuttal statement to the review saying that I was lying and that I didn't give them a chance to correct the issue. Immediately following I was hung up on. I went about correcting the issue myself, paying for new buttons and the alterations to my uniform. I then called back the 6711 Northwest Cache location and asked for the name of the individual that had been so incredibly rude. The employee that answered the phone told me that the managers name is Debbie Queen. Simply put, my experience was absolutely unacceptable and at this point they have lost a customer and I have no reservations about advising other individuals about the abhorrent quality of your customer service.
