YES! YES! This is what a restaurant should be! We went there for my mother's birthday. We were just trying it out. We couldn't have been happier! The food was DELICIOUS, the service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. I recommend this restaurant to ANYONE.
Our food was terrible. I ordered the salmon with potatoes and asparagus and everything was overcooked. The potatoes were cooked to a crisp and the asparagus was chewy. The salmon and the potatoes were so overcooked and salty as to be inedible. The sauce that came with the salmon had no taste. My wife ordered the strawberry salad and they had run out of strawberries. She switched to a chef salad and it also did not have any flavor. If you want to avoid bad food do not go to this place.
Don't waste your time or money here. I ordered the chicken fried chicken it had more breading than it did meat. My wife's Indian taco was raw in the middle. Way over priced for 6 people it cost 70 dollars with a 40% off coupon. Last but not least they added a 15 % gratuity ( I use only top 10 % unless otherwise earned) .The only good thing was a dessert called Carl's special.
Wanted to take my husband to a nice Sunday lunch. The lady who greeted us said handed us menus and said we could pick our table . Would not have been an issue but several of the tables were dirty. No wonder since they don't actually walk through the dining room often. As we wait for her to decide to get up and get our drink order I notice in addition to the table tops being dirty the booths have brown stains dropping down the sides. We order and while waiting the table next to us decides to pay the bill and go since he can't get a refill on water. Loud enough for the whole restaurant hear. I notice still no one offers him any. When our food arrives the pasta I orders looks dry like it has sat under a heat lamp for an excessively long time. This is confirmed as I straighten my plate and burn my finger tips. My husband's chicken fried steak is nothing but burnt breading. Not sure if it was from old oil or inattention but my daughter suffered the same fate from her fries. How you can get dry chicken in a sauced pasta dish is also a mystery. The highlights were the fried okra and water. They were up to my expectations.
