This is the worst dentist I have ever been to. I had two dental insurance plans when I went and Aspen assured me I would not have to pay a dime. Sure enough, I get charged after each visit AND got another bill in the mail for more money.
I'm actually writing a review on behalf of my dad, J.R. He really enjoyed his experience with Aspen. He said everyone was friendly and they cared about his needs. They were not high pressured at all. He said they were fast and efficient. He had a tooth pulled and his dentures repaired and the whole process took less than an hour. He definitely recommends Aspen for all your dental needs. Thank you for taking care of my dad. It's a rare thing these days to get such good service. A special thank you to Korie, the lady that took care of him.
It seemed like the dentist and staff were nice and accommodating during the visit, however they did not submit the appropriate paperwork to the insurance so our entire claim was denied. When I called and asked why it was not submitted, I was told it was never written because they only filled out the paperwork if the claim was denied. We are now going through the process of appealing the claim and trying to get the paperwork done. If you want to save yourself trouble with inaurance, go somewhere that fills out the paperwork BEFORE you get denied!
From the time I set the appointment to the time I walked out the door, I truly believe that I have met the nicest people on Earth. They were everything I could ever dream of in terms of customer service and I'm a customer service manager.
I would recommend them to any and everyone. Hands down the best service I've had in all of OK. And they're much nicer than my dentist in KCMO, also.
The facility is very, very clean and bright. The staff was very meticulous about hygiene, which I appreciate since they were digging in my mouth.
I had to bring my infant son with me because of a childcare situation, and they were SO great about it. They never made me feel bad for having to lug him around for each task. In fact, each of the ladies in the office paused to entertain him at some point during our visit - when they weren't busy.
Avoid this place at all costs if you enjoy your hard earned money. My wife went to this place about four to six months ago to receive a check up and cleaning. All of the issues Aspen dental found they quoted us at a fixed rate for all the dental work after the insurance kicked in. The amount was for 1200 dollars to be financed thru their credit card company. No APR for the first twelve months. Sounds like a good deal right? Well, my wife received the dental work and we agreed to the quoted price 1200 dollars. Fast forward a month later after the dental work was received we received a bill on top of the credit card bill we are already paying for. WHICH THEY SAID IT WOULD ONLY COST 1200 DOLLARS. THEY LIED. I recommend every Lawton resident to steer clear from this money pit. They quote you at a fixed rate and send you more bills on top of what they claim the dental work is supposed to be. Bunch of liars who work here. Plus, when you bring up the issue they put a ticket in their high speed top of the line system and tell you that they will call you back to resolve the issue. My wife has been waiting on that call for four to five months now. Steer clear.
UPDATE: After talking to the Patient Satisfaction team - they didn't help at all. They claimed they would reach out to my dental insurance companies and resolve the issue, which after a month they didn't and I got a final notice in the mail for payment. SO I called the insurance companies and they have tried to get information from this branch of Aspen Dental about my claim, which they never responded about. All it took was a simple 5 minute phone call, which the nice lady at Delta Dental of Tennessee said the office should have taken care of.
I had the pleasure of hearing the dentist himself talk to another patient, she was elderly and having a hard time understanding. He was so gentle and patient with her... he must have repeated his recommendations four times in four different ways. And when she started to get overwhelmed he paused for simple conversation for a moment before starting back in. I wanted to hug him.
