They had been boasting a price of $4.99 per movie. We got there and it was $7.99 per person. When we went into the movie theater, the air was so thick and humid, it felt like it was lying on you. There was no air on in the theater and it smelled moldy and wet. Not a good experience. We left after about 15 minutes. Money wasted.
The fat manager lady is not trying to save carmike 8, she sits on her ass playing games in front of all the customers and lets the high school kids do nothing when they should be cleaning. This place needs a new manager ASAP or it is going to go out of business. No AC in the summmer and no heat in the winter and she lies and says it's broken I'm not stupid or ever coming back. This place is filthy when we went into our movie and they forgot to start it.never ever going back! Beware people
Nice place but quite empty, but to be honest didn't know this place existed until I saw it in the moviepass app
This is now a cheap theater for movies that have been out for a while. The place is clean, but has lost some of its former glory. The seats are nice (with arm rests that you can either use or move out of the way for more room), it has the "make it your way" Coke machines for tons of flavor combinations, they do the popcorn bucket refills (just like the Patriot theater), and the place is nicer than other cheap theaters in town.
Clean facility and friendly staff. Love $5 Tuesdays.
