I absolutely loathe this hospital my mother had sore throat she went to the Dr's here at LIH and they misdiagnosed for 10 yrs she stopped breathing and had to be rushed to DRH er and there Dr. Albertson did a throat culture and found out that my mom had throat cancer she died 3/19/07 all because the dr failed at his job, another incident happened 6/5/00 I was a month pregnant with my oldest daughter and had to haveban emergency appendectomy afterwards the Dr told me that the antibiotics would cause birth defects in my child and he suggested for me to have an abortion and proceededbto hand me abortion clinic cards, I immediately went to the administration and they did NOTHING!!!!!
I have had only good experiences in the Radiology department. They always answer the phone and treat me with respect.
Everytime you come here be prepared to wait at least 4hrs before even getting seen bring a blanket because its super cold! Idk what kind of order they go in but be prepared for people that came after you to be seen and checked out before you even get into a room. Once you finally get in a room don't think the doctor is going to spend time on you considering you've already waited 4hrs to be seen seen hes in and out in 2 secs! Never understood if it was that easy why did I wait. 4hrs!?! Try try try to avoid coming here by all means
My grandma died because they wouldn't let her have her medicine and she got very sick so I advise you not to go here
I just wish someone would answer the dang phone.
