I just discharged today after lumbar surgery. The hospital was truly awesome. The staff in every department were kind and compassionate and professional. What a great experience. The nurses I had were over the top. Dr. Pagnanelli is one of the finest human beings that ever lived and his skills as a surgeon are unbeatable. What an honor for me to be cared for by such wonderful people. I would recommend this hospital to anyone.
Husband had back surgergy here today. The entire surgical staff was excellent. I knew when Dr Paganelli had a large smile on his face when he come to talk to us that he was pleased with his work. Love this doctor. Highly recommend this doctor and hospital.
Brilliant place. I went to the E.R. and was in the back within 30 minutes. That's a grand record for ANY hospital I've ever been to. I'm never going to Comanche County Memorial again after the experience I had with Southwestern.
For anyone that wants a place that actually cares, go here. In comparison to CCMH, this place beams and Comanche County doesn't hold a candle.
I wanted to say Thank you to southwestern emergency room. You all were a blessing to my family and I last night. Nurse Lindsey and the nurse with the head band in the emergency room were wonderful. They provide excellent care, kept us updated, and showed compassion to myself and my son. You all are and outstanding team! Thank you!
Even when it came to having my blood drawn, I'm generally very difficult to get blood from. This is the first place where they drew successfully with the first stick (PAINLESSLY), and that's a huge shocker to me. When I tried CCMH, they tore up my veins trying, and left a foot-long bruise from my wrist on upward. The nurse that took my blood here at SWMC made it look effortless.
SWMC gets five stars, easily. They took a little longer with lab tests for blood work and metabolic screening, but that's probably because of the process involved, and the sincerity in their effort makes it well worth the wait. Dr. Ross and Dr. Oliver, a huge thumbs up to you both. Thank you for your patience.
Went to the ER was put in a room almost right away which was great. Then a nurse came and took a history blood and soon there after to get a ct scan. An hour after that the first doctor came in got a history did a few test and left very friendly. So from there we wait, in the 50 degree hospital freezing, for 5 hours without seeing a soul. Finally after a total of 6 hours of being there a new doctor comes in asks all the questions the previous doctor had asked earlier and then went and looked at all the labs done hours earlier to tell us nothing was wrong. It took 6 hours to run all the basic labs to come to the diagnosis of nothing is wrong. And to top it all off the second doctor was probably one of the rudest people I've ever come across. For the most part the rest of the staff in the hospital is nice but avoid the ER at all cost.
These doctors are some of the most sincere, analytical and thorough I've EVER been to. They made sure no detail was overlooked, answered every question I had, and were extremely considerate the entire time.
