I have dealt with U-Haul over the years I have never had one issue with any location out of California let alone this location until now this is by far the worst Management!! The way I see it I will never do business with U-Hual ever again! The way I was treated by the NEW STORE MANAGER Was unacceptable no reason at all for her to storm out behind the counter and start an argument in the middle of the parking lot in front of my two Children that were sitting in the backseat at the time! All because I unhook my trailer let alone I was asking the other associate what happened to the customer service At this location As we walked out the door. Very unprofessional for a manager to approach a customer of the way she did using four letter words refusing to give the corporate number At first and then told me good file a complaint it’ll come back around to me anyways and nothing will be done about it File your complaint don’t ever come back to my location again! Let alone call me later in the day with sarcasm that it Seemed to be ( Oh I ran across you're complaint and I wanted to call you back and get this worked out What can I do for you to make it right) After I told her do not call me anymore I’m waiting for you’re boss to call me to go over this situation I hung up on her. Shortly after I receive a phone call from a restricted number with a Male’s voice telling me to not ever return to this location and hangs up on!!
1. Be respectful on the phone without having an SNOOTY ATTITUDE.
4. Don’t tell me as a Customer not to come back to the you’re location ever again!

6. Actually Acknowledge That a customer has brought the trailer back on time and don’t leave them standing out in the parking lot to unhook the trailer themselves After you’ve already been told by another associate.
2. Try to have some kind of customers Service Skills!

7. Number seven most of all do not call the CUSTOMER back later in the day from a (RESTRICTED) number with a man’s voice saying (DO NOT EVER RETURN TO THIS U-Haul LOCATION EVER AGAIN!!
Really disappointed with u-haul. They said they had the truck I needed here in Lawton and said It would be available when i moved. I called 4 days before I am supposed to pick it up and they said I would have to drive to Midwest city to pick up my truck. That is a 2 hour drive one way! They then had me go around the phone tree and talk to several different people and not getting anywhere. I gave up with U-haul and called Budget trucks. They had the truck I needed and were very professional. Just go to Budget truck, don't waste your time or money with u-haul.
5. Very Unprofessional to refuse to give the Corporate phone number when asked repeatedly!
Ms. Lorene was amazing. Her customer service was excellent and she was incredibly personable! Most people are tired and grumpy at 5pm on Wednesday. She was tired and happy! Honestly I was impressed and it made me happier as well after what had been an exhausting day at work. I had already gotten 2 quotes, one from Budget Rentals and one from Penske Rentals. I only walked into Uhaul to figure out what size truck I had rented previously to choose between the other two quotes. When she greeted me with a smile, candid jokes about the day, and laughter I decided Uhaul was the better option for me without a second thought and reserved a 20-ft truck with a tow dolly on the spot. Thank you for making that such a pleasant experience!!!

The evening staff is AWFUL. The morning staff who rented me the truck were fine - nice and welcoming and very helpful and courteous. But the evening staff was horrendous. First, there were kids/teenagers in there behind the counter (their mom is an employee -- they called her mom) and more just hanging out in the store. There was fast food all over the counter and packs of cigarettes. It looked so unprofessional and they gave off the feeling that I, a customer, was interfering with their evening meal and party. The girl that checked me out had no idea what she was doing. She spent over 10 minutes trying to just return my truck -- I wanted to do a split sale with part in cash and part on my card and you would have thought I was asking her to do higher level college calculus. She had no idea how to do it and spent at least 5 minutes just staring at the screen. I finally had to tell her to just put it all on my card because I had been there over 10 minutes and I had someplace I needed to go. NONE of them had any customer service skills....there was no greeting when I arrived and no apology for taking so long to check me out...and certainly no "thank you for choosing UHaul" when I left. BTW, they no longer offer a military discount. This is disappointing. Next time I need a truck, I will be seeing what other companies are like and what their rates are.
The staff here was nice and helpful and even let me borrow an adapter.
3. Don’t use four letter words Or yell at the CUSTOMER Let alone in front of their children especially when you are New manager of the store very Unprofessional!
