This establishment is a joke.. Its had several management issues, they have gotten over on several people with the returning of their deposit checks. I only gave them one star because giving them a negative rating was not an option. They're constantly switching management, but it gets worse every single time. They carry attitudes, lack the ability to keep up with paperwork, constantly find ways to charge you more money!
I know there is several bad rating about these apartments; however since the new management has taken over things are getting a lot better! I have read some nasty things about the new management as well but they are nice ladies. You just have to communicate nicely with them and they will do their best to work with you. I have NEVER had an issue with the management or maintenance. These apartments are now owner managed. I've also read in some places the pool isn't clean. A person can't control debris flying around in the air. They do change out the water and chlorine very regularly. If a tenant doesn't call in something that's broken or leaking it can't be fixed due to them not knowing about it. If something needs to be fixed you have to tell them.
Crosby Park Apartments in Lawton, Oklahoma (Sunridge Management Group) is the worst place I have ever lived. A month after moving in the apartment above mine had a hot water heater break and it completely flooded my apartment. I was given a shop vacc and was basically ghetto cleaning my own floors. The light fixture in my kitchen had collapsed exposing the open ceiling and dangerous electrical wiring.. I asked them several times to clean and fix my apartment and nothing was EVER done. I REFUSED to pay them rent for an apartment that was unliveable and instead of moving me or just fixing the issue they proceeded to evict me. I will be handling this issue further up the ladder. I wouldn't recommend these swindlers to my worst of enemies.
What an awful place. They can't keep a property manager very long. They lost my rent and everybody else's rent from October. Since I couldn't find a receipt to prove I paid(been living there over 2 years and never not paid)and refused to pay again, I got evicted on the coldest day of the year. The current property manger, Sherry is about as nasty as nasty gets. Very rude and totally unprofessional. Also, thanks to them I got bedbugs. That's right, bedbugs and they did nothing about it. Thanks Crosby Park apartments, you've ruined my life
I lived at Crosby Park Apartments from 1999-2002 while attending Cameron University after I retired from the military and loved it there. I just happen to run across the reviews of more recent residents and cannot believe what I have read. During the time I resided there the management were at the top of their game, and maintenance of the apartments and grounds were A+, although looking at some pictures of the apartments now (namely the kitchens) I couldn't help but notice that they haven't changed in 15 years.
