Not the first stop to make for barbecue. Cafeteria style service. Basically, cooked pork or beef that you put sauce on to give it flavor. Take 5 minutes to check out "Rib Crib" for much better food.
good down home BBQ with all the trimmings for a picnic, or a turkey dinner...love the brisket sandwiches and the staff is always sweet and cordial to me...
I had the 1/4 chicken special with 2 sides. You can't beat the price of $6.99. I got my wife the brisket sandwich with hickory BBQ sauce. She liked it, which says a lot. I do believe I'll give them another try since the new owners may be getting things on the right track.
I've only had the loaded potato but it's one if the best I've had. Staff is nice and take the time to try and remember repeat customers. Wish they had real plates and silverware but there's something to be said for having your food come ready to go when your full.
