Soon as I read the “reviews” about how horrible the place was, I knew I had to check it out. Easy access for truck parking, which makes life much easier. Smaller lot gets you closer to the building and quieter than chain truck stops. Single person restroom is a god-send for those of us who find it hard to go with an audience. Food is your typical All-American fare, done to perfection with generous portions and reasonable prices. Ate breakfast surrounded by people of all ethnicities, all of whom were welcome and enjoying their meals. Waitress was exactly what you expect: cordial, helpful and pleasant with just the right touch of “rough-around-the-edges” that make her an asset as she adds to the rustic charm. If you prefer meals made before you order them through a speaker, go on by, this won’t be for you.
Is not a truck stop but is a very good restaurant, with home made meals, very economic and very delicious. As a trucker I'm tired of the big chains like Petros, ta, loves with their fast food. Decent parking for big trucks and very delicious food. I'll be back every chance I have. And the service, so nice. I'm grateful for this place
Great food, friendly staff. The only place I've ever eaten that I tipped the chef for getting my order exactly right. Love the steaks! All of that and I can afford it. No credit cards taken.
Fun and friendly staff! Great food and atmosphere. I go to Lawton every weekend for work and always stop by there for home cooking. I love sitting at the counter and talking with the waitresses
Good sized portions of home cooking. I had the chicken fried steak with three sides and spent less than I would at McDonald's for a hamburger meal! The waitresses were friendly and attentive. The decor is truck stop dive, but for the price, taste and service you can't beat it.
