Talk to any military family that has had the misfortune of dealing with Jeanne Rock, her reputation is truly horrible around post and in town.

Manipulative, lying, dishonest horrible person. She will ask you to do things that are her responsibility, will not pursue advertising your listing in an effort to make sure it does not sell so that you are left with no choice but to rent it, then fails miserably in her duties as a property manager. She makes up stories to keep you from listing your house and sends out reminders of how horrible the housing market is to keep you afraid to list so she earns more money off you. She is an absolute liar and manipulator and if you are out of state she will slander/libel you and do everything else she can to hurt you, especially if you decide not to list with her. Once she can not make any more money off you, she turns into the the worst person you will ever encounter. When you confront her about problems she blames her assistant. She is on her third assistant since we have known her, and they leave for a reason. She is being investigated for ethics violations by the Oklahoma Association of Realtors. Really, if you are military go somewhere else. There are far too many other realtors who are decent people for you to chose from. She will be nice and help people out who are looking for a rental, then manipulates that whole relationship so that you think she is amazing and you will look to buy a house with her. Helping someone buy a house is the easiest part of being a realtor. When it comes to trying to sell, she does nothing! Literally nothing! There is a reason there is an entire FB page title F&^% Jeanne Rock! it is because she has screwed over too many people.
Jeanne Rock will blatantly lie about the state of the vacated property, make accusations that have nothing to do with the truth, and fabricate "repair" receipts to make her point seem genuine.
Jeanne Rock is one of the sweetest, kindest, most ethical & professional people I know. She runs a first rate property management & real estate business. I can always reach Jeanne when I need to and she makes a personal connection with everyone she meets. I will continue to send Jeanne Rock referrals and am proud that I know her. I managed property for years and just like another reviewer stated, only bad reviews are posted. People forget to post all the positives! JEANNE IS A POSITIVE :-)
I have talked to multiple military renters who confirmed this. She waits until you are out of state, or country to send a letter explaining why a deposit is not returned and then says "I CANNOT LEGALLY DISCUSS LEASES OVER THE PHONE." This is her scam.
DO NOT RENT FROM JEANNE ROCK! She may be nice and caring at first but that will all change. She did a okay job of managing the property. Although her assistant seems to take the brunt of the work load (and she is actually really nice). But when it came to check out time, our story seems to be like everyone else's. She came up with all kinds of reasons to take money from our $1600 security deposit, including soiled and damaged carpet that was like that when we moved in. We only got $450 back. In ALL of my years of renting (over 10 years) I have never not gotten all of my security deposit back, because I take very good care of the houses/apartments I live in. I repeat DO NOT RENT FROM JEANNE ROCK!

She will threaten you and default to casually mentioning her attorney husband. (He's a tax attorney, by the way) Don't get in this situation. STEER CLEAR OF JEANNE ROCK.
